Vero Wines – A Short Guide to Wine in Italy

Vero is a small village that lies on the banks of the Vero River and this beautiful part of town is a favorite among tourists in the area. You can also catch the beautiful sights of the town during your time there and enjoy its natural beauty as you sample the local fare. The local folks are welcoming and have lots to offer tourists who come to visit this small gem. A major attraction during your stay in Vero, however, should be the Vero Valley Winery, which is located in the heart of the village. It offers a tasting room where you will be able to sample some of the town’s best wines.

The main wine making facilities are located in the historic district of Vero with several smaller facilities located nearby. The Vero Valley is rich in history and holds many interesting artifacts, most notably a Roman amphitheater. Another area of interest is the Santa Margherita Valley, which is named after a local bar. This winery makes a white wine called the “Santa Margherita.” In addition to these two fine vintages, you will also find an excellent offering from the U.S. based Suck Club, which produces a variety of sparkling wines from Chardonnay grapes.

You will find several dining options in Vero. One of the more popular options is the Vero waiter restaurant. This restaurant specializes in Mediterranean and international cuisine that features an extensive wine list. You will also find other fine dining options, including traditional Italian restaurants, Indian buffets, Mexican tapas, and Chinese eateries. Many of these restaurants also offer an informal patio bar with outdoor seating that is open to guests.
